Our 2014 Fundraiser begins TODAY!
Your support meant so much to us last year and enabled us to add over 60 murals of all sizes to our community! This year, we are once again looking to you, our community, to help us continue this amazing project and all the momentum you helped us gather throughout 2013.
Every dollar you can contribute helps, and because WALLTHERAPY is part of a nonprofit organization called the Synthesis collaborative, (check out http://wall-therapy.com/about-wall-therapy/), your donation is tax-deductible.

In 2013, we helped to shine a positive light on Rochester and its ability to inspire and create. Once again, the Image Capital of the World was in the headlines in all around the world. News outlets and blogs in both hemispheres were clamoring for the opportunity to share photos and stories of the masterful images being created in our city. The artists’ work not only gained international attention, but WALLTHERAPY fulfilled its true purpose, as it beautified our urban landscape and inspired dialogue amongst Rochester citizens, and in doing so helped connect distinct areas separated by class and culture, helping to improve our community.
Over 50 articles were written about the event, including in the Huffington Post, Juxtapoz, Brooklyn Street Art, Arrested Motion, 12oz Prophet, Vandalog, and our own CITY and Democrat and Chronicle. You can check out a few here, or see the full list over on our website:

The 2013 WALLTHERAPY event was something never before seen in Rochester. Over 30 world renown artists from across the globe came together to create unique and elegant works of art on various walls all over the city. In span of a week Rochester gained over 60 new murals in locations throughout the city, in neighborhoods including the South Wedge and near the El Camino Trail. These paintings varied in size from only a few feet long to creations over 4 stories. By the end of Fall 2013, we had 35 muralists join us in all. All of this was created thanks to financial and volunteer donations from you, our supporters.
We are asking again for assistance to continuing this forward momentum, to continue to bring unique artists to our city to help inspire and to heal. Your continued support will allow us to purchase the paint and supplies, rent the lifts and ladders needed to support the local and international artists as they produce visually compelling murals in the Rochester cityscape, in turn improving and strengthening our thriving community.
If you are unable to financially chip in, we totally understand, but we hope you can share out the link to the fundraiser to your network of friends and help spread the word.
