The New York City Borough of Queens gave rise to the artist known as Cern. Since the 1990′s,Cern has been creating art as a means of connecting with others. Experiential and cultural transactions drive his myriad travels to paint around the world with reverence. Firmly grounded in the history of ‘writers’, Cern’s style nods to the past with deference and defies definitive categorization.
