Currently based in Brooklyn, brothers ICY and SOT are stencil artists and skaters originally from Tabriz, Iran, who travel the world on a creative crusade to dismantle pre-conceived perceptions of a fleeting Iranian tradition. Active since 2006, ICY and SOT have created murals and held exhibitions about war, peace, hope, despair, society issues, and human rights. In late 2013, the duo visited Rochester and painted a giant little boy giving life to his drawings on the north side of the Anderson Alley building at 250 North Goodman Street, as well as a few smaller bonus works around town.
