Martha Cooper is a documentary photographer who has specialized in shooting urban art and architecture for forty-five years. Her books include Subway Art, a collaboration with Henry Chalfant, R.I.P.: Memorial Wall Art, Hip Hop Files 1980-1984, We B*Girlz, Street Play, New York State of Mind, Tag Town, Going Postal and Spray Nation. She’s based in Manhattan but travels to street art festivals worldwide.

Martha, who joined us in 2012 and 2013 to document our work, will be joining us again to once again document the artists and take the stage on Tuesday July 26th at 7:30pm for a free screening and Q&A of the documentary Martha: A Picture Story about her immensely impactful career!
